You’re Scheduled for an Employee Drug Test. Are You Ready? Read Your Next Drug Test Part 1, it Could Save Your Job.

Ever go to a CBD site and see the terms Full-Spectrum CBD, Broad-Spectrum CBD, and CBD Isolate? Ever wonder about the differences between Full Spectrum CBD v Broad-Spectrum CBD v CBD Isolate?

In a few minutes, you will see why it could matter to you.

The following explains why reading this article matters.

You’re an athlete, or you work for a company that’s convinced that marijuana is an impediment to a productive, professional workplace. Drug testing could be part of your athletic or work experience.

Incredibly, Marijuana is still considered a Schedule 1 drug by the DEA. Marijuana typically contains a significant percentage of THC. As you already know, the psychoactive component in cannabis is THC, which is what this test is looking for.

Some THC Drug Test Basic Information

Everyone knows that marijuana is in the process of becoming decriminalized, getting legalized, and accepted everywhere. Unfortunately, there are still a number of employers ignoring current trends in marijuana legalization and decriminalization.

If you know you’re going to get tested at some point, you need to prepare for this event.

If you currently don’t even smoke pot but take CBD this test could still be a problem. Why? A lot of CBD includes traces of THC. Does this mean you stop taking CBD? You don’t have to stop taking CBD, but you need to learn which CBD to use.

A skilled hemp manufacturer can design the process to limit the number of different types of organic compounds included in the final product, so you have multiple choices.

In Full-Spectrum CBD that would include cannabidiol and some trace phytocannabinoids including a minuscule amount of THC.

The formula will generally also include various Terpenes and other organic compounds. As a rule of thumb, that type of product is not considered Full-spectrum without the THC.

According to Federal law, hemp can only contain a max of 0.3% THC. Unfortunately, a drug test could detect that trace amount of THC, and then you have an issue.

If you don’t have to worry about a drug test, Full-Spectrum CBD is currently one of the more preferred and popular choices.

One major school of thought believes that the additional trace amounts of other cannabinoids, including THC and Terpenes, work synergistically with cannabidiol.

In theory, and very possibly in practice. This provides a broader effect than cannabidiol without THC and is frequently referred to as the Entourage effect.

On the other hand, there are CBD consumers who prefer CBD or CBG without THC. This includes people who don’t need to worry about a drug test. Each to their own.

Some Specifics on Your Next Employee Drug Test

As I mentioned earlier, because there’s less than 0.3% of THC in hemp, you are not going to/cannot get high from hemp. Unfortunately for the person being tested, that doesn’t matter.

The employer or prospective employer generally won’t care about the amount of THC, just that it’s there.

Before you purchase a Full-Spectrum CBD or CBG, assume the THC will stay in your system for approximately 30 days for a urine test and up to 90 days for a hair test.

If you’re thinking that you can time usage with the test date try thinking that one through a little deeper. The first and most important word is approximate. That means you could miscalculate and blow it.
