Learn About Groovy Hemp Company
and Our CBD Oil Products
CBD stands for Cannabidiol, one of many phytocannabinoids found in cannabis. Unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive. Additionally, independent research, and consumer feedback, demonstrate numerous benefits for human and pet health. In hemp, CBD Oil is found in a much higher concentration than any other cannabinoid.
CBD Oil works synergistically with your body’s Endocannabinoid System (ECS) to supplement the naturally occurring cannabinoids in your system.
When your body absorbs CBD Oil, it improves the endocannabinoid system’s ability to promote a balanced internal environment (Homeostasis).
Consuming CBD Oil products can help you maintain a regular level of CBD Oil in your system, promoting optimal wellness.
CBD Oil and/or CBG Oil Wellness Products are a combination of phytocannabinoids and terpenes, or phytocannabinoids, terpenes, and herbal supplements formulated to ease a specific condition, issue, or symptom. Examples include:
- Gummies that are specifically formulated for a night of deep, restful sleep.
- Capsules that are specifically formulated for pain management or headaches.
- Tinctures that are specifically formulated for improving daily brain function and your energy level.
THC-free CBD Oil means exactly what it says. It’s CBD Oil without any THC. There are two types of THC-free CBD Oil. Broad-spectrum CBD Oil contains trace amounts of other phytocannabinoids except THC.
The strict interpretation of CBD Isolate is CBD Oil without any other phytocannabinoids, including THC. It also has no terpenes or any other organic compounds that might be found in Industrial Hemp, Pharmaceutical, or Food Grade Hemp
If a label says CBD Isolate or Broad-spectrum CBD but you have doubts, read the COA (Independent Lab Results). This document should be available on the vendor’s website.
The lab results will show the percentages of phytocannabinoids present or not present in the formulation. More specifically, Delta 8 or Delta 9 THC should be listed as “ND” (for none detected).
If you can’t find a COA for the product you’re looking at, consider another brand or vendor. groovyhempcompany.com has a COA for every CBD product we provide.
In Full-spectrum CBD (with THC), the Entourage Effect is a term used to describe how THC amplifies the therapeutic impact of a combination of a major cannabinoid (e.g., CBD or CBN), minor cannabinoids, Terpenes, and other organic compounds.
In THC-free CBD, the Entourage Effect is a term used to describe how a specific formulation amplifies the therapeutic impact of a combination of a major cannabinoid (e.g., CBD or CBN), minor cannabinoids, Terpenes, and other organic compounds.
The abbreviation for a Certificate of Analysis is COA (AKA Independent Lab Results). A COA can be conveniently found on the individual product page, in the tab marked Independent Lab Results.
